‘Playing with drawstrings is something we’ve done before, but I hope this shirt will become sort of a staple item,’ designer Rolf Ekroth says. ‘I like the lines that it creates around the middle of the body, and you can use the drawstrings to tighten up the front, which creates a nice silhouette. The Japanese typewriter fabric also has a great vintage look and feel to it – I was inspired by pictures of the Finnish Midsummer from the 1930s to 50s. I chose this fabric exclusively for The Wasted Hour because they have supported me from the beginning.’
